Hi, I am Andrew Mackay

Let's get to know each other

A family of five poses together on a paved path surrounded by lush tropical garden foliage and palm trees.

I grew up in Northern Alberta and moved to Red Deer in 2009 to pursue a career as a firefighter and paramedic. Not long after settling here, I met my incredible wife, Michelle, and together we're now raising three wild, wonderful kids.

I first picked up a camera while traveling through Scotland, Ireland, and Iceland—and I haven’t been able to put it down since. What started as a way to document beautiful places has grown into a passion for capturing meaningful moments right here at home.

I love the stories a photo album can tell—whether it’s the first days with a newborn, a family just being themselves, or a couple celebrating the start of forever. These are the moments worth remembering, and I’d be honoured to help you capture them.

As a firefighter and paramedic, I understand how quickly life moves and how important it is to hold on to the moments that matter. Whether you're planning your wedding, welcoming a new baby, or simply wanting to freeze time with your family, I’m here to help you tell your story—honestly and beautifully.

We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.
